Ovacik Turkey
Ovacik located on the road from Fethiye to Oludeniz is a great holiday base which gives easy access to the attractions of this area of Turkey. A quiet location set at the foot of the surrounding mountains and pine forests, it offer a good selection of smaller friendly family run hotels and private Villas and apartments. There are a few small quality restaurants and bars which are ideal for a relaxing night out. If you want a quiet holiday where you can totally unwind then Ovacik is the ideal place.
For a more lively night out the adjoining resort of Hisaronu is only ten minutes walk away. Hisaronu has a totally different character with its lively bars and nightclubs.
The beach resort of Oludeniz is only 10 minutes ride away on one of the plentiful local buses (Dolmus); here you will find one of the best beaches in the area and the blue Lagoon for which Oludeniz is famous.
If your are looking to purchase property, there is plenty of development in the Ovacik area including some lovely stone built detached Villas with private pools and spectacular mountain views. Prices are still good but slightly higher than you would pay in nearby Fethiye or Calis. A good selection of properties in this area can be found in local estate agents windows in Hisaronu and Fethiye.

Olive Tree Villa
This new villa is situated on a small coplex of 47 privately owned villas in the mountains above Fethiye near to the Blue Lagoon beaches.
We first visited the area in 2005 and fell in love with the area
and purchased the villa that year (finished May 2006). The villa is 2 floors 2 bedrooms 1 shower room including toilet wash basin, downstairs lounge/ kitchen + w.c and wash basin.Locality
There are places to eat / drink within walking distance
A short bus ride will take you to many bars and restaraunts.
