Villa Ria is situated in Maras, a five minute stroll from the heart of Dalyan Town on the Turquoise Coast in Turkey but nestled amidst a panorama of imposing mountains and the ancient Lycian rock tombs, Standing within her own private garden of luscious palms, lemon and orange trees, Villa Rias architecturally designed elegance charms even before entering the cool contemporary open plan living area which leads directly out onto the bathing area.
Across from the large, beautifully lit swimming pool and foaming Jacuzzi dwells an attractive wooden Kosk, a chill-out area providing comfort and shade. A stone-built outdoor barbecue also runs alongside a spacious dining area seating 6 beneath the stars.
Interior décor is calm, sleek and stylish throughout the open planned lower floor, comprising living area with comfy sofas, dining area and a fully equipped kitchen featuring a lovely working fireplace moulded from white Bodrum stone. One of three en-suite bedrooms is also situated on this level and benefits from double doors opening onto the poolside area. The ground floor has wheelchair access.
A curving staircase leads to the upper level where two more en-suite bedrooms are situated either side of a stunning Turkish area with typical Turkish lighting, rugs and low seating. Low cushioned seating and creative lighting serve as an aperitif to the romantic backdrop which unfolds once the double doors are flung open onto the wrap around large balcony with small dining area.VILLA RIAS FACILITIES

As an alternative from the traditional Hotel or Villa holiday many people visiting Turkey now opt for a holiday with a difference and charter a Turkish Gulet for the whole or part of their stay. Gulets are tradionally built wooden sailing craft which have evolved from the boats which used to trade along Turkey's coast line many years ago. Now offering much more luxurious accommodation than their predecessors this is a fantastic way to explore Turkey's coast. The vessels come fully crewed, so all you have to do is sit back and take in the fabulous scenery, explore hidden coves and swim in the crystal clear turquoise waters.
Turkey's scenery varies dramatically from long sandy beaches lapped by turquoise seas, pine forests, lush fertile plains to dramatic mountains. The holiday season on Turkeys Mediterranean coast starts in mid April and ends in late September. Temperatures range from a maximum 45C/113F, minimum -5C/23F, the most pleasant months if you don't like it too hot, are the early part of May and September.
Flights to Turkey during the winter are now becoming available to major airports and one recent development is the opening of a ski resort, so Turkey is starting to become an all year holiday destination.
